My DH is Japanese (we live in Japan)–*exactly* the same. And I’ve had precisely this same conversation with the other (japanese) moms around here. It’s a worldwide male phenomenon. Heck, I bet it’s a trait we share with the other primates. Maybe Jane Goodall will leave a comment to that effect…

Oh brother! This just made my night! I’m lying here on the couch…mad as a hatter…because I just had my appendix removed and my husband has a cold. Guess who’s been doing the most complaining! Here I am with surgical wounds and an infection braving it out and taking care of our two year old while he sleeps all day because he has the sniffles! Thanks for reminding me I’m not alone!
