Anyone who thinks a DVD is going to turn their child into a genius is a couple sandwiches short of a picnic basket. They are meant to entertain children, and maybe teach them how to say dog or cat. I used them to keep my daughter preoccupied so I could shower, use the bathroom, or eat something without having a little person screaming in my face. I’d take Baby Einstein over creepy Mr. Rogers anyday!!!

With limits I certainly don’t think they do any harm. and they’re pretty cute. You have to wonder if these anti-TV people actually HAVE kids.

I am so not taking ‘em back. It keeps him preoccupied while I use the bathroom, yes, but also just gives me a break. Besides, who here didn’t grow up with Sesame Street?! God bless Baby Einstein…. ’nuff said.

I also NEVER bought them thinking my daughter would go to MIT in the future, so I had no expectations other than they’re entertaining and DO let me take a shower and go to the bathroom! LOL
