Before I had Faye, I was a Kindergarten teacher, and I had all the patience in the world…but I think being around those kids for so many years, sadly, kinda burned me out on kids. I feel like I’ve got no patience left at times, and I’ve resorted to frustrated, teeth-gritting, yelling “Mean Mom” more times than I should have. I’ve gotten a LOT better in the past year or so, but it’s still hard not to go to that dark place now and then.
